To me, this quote is speaking of the most fundamental rule of the universe. Love isn’t owned and cannot be taken. It can only be given. This quote talks about mutual love and of the only valid test. If you love someone, you have to give them the freedom to choose for itself.

Its all about giving everything and expect nothing !!I

Life is all about freedom and living with our own choices .Life gives you all what you deserve and some other exceptional things . Moving towards the topic as it says if you love something .

Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you’re in love, you always want to be together, and when you’re not, you’re thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete.

This love is unconditional affection with no limits or conditions: completely loving someone. It’s when you trust the other with your life and when you would do anything for each other. When you love someone, you want nothing more than for them to be truly happy no matter what it takes, because that’s how much you care about them and because their needs come before your own. You hide nothing of yourself and can tell the other anything because you know they accept you just the way you are and vice versa.

Love can make you do anything and sacrifice for what will be better in the end. Love is intense and passionate. Everything seems brighter, happier and more wonderful when you’re in love. If you find it, don’t let it go.

If you  love something , let it free....Especially when it is a person whom you love , whom you cannot live without still..
To put someone in fetters of your promises or emotions is useless.See love is a feeling which can never decrease or increase on the basis that whether you get love in return or not . So love like meera ...have immense amount of love for the person regardless of anything and that's enough.To be in love, you don't need togetherness , all you need is unconditional true love in yourselves for them.

NOW LETS GET MORE TO THE TOPIC....

Love is letting go. I had to learn this the hard way. You let go of someone you love because you want the best for that person. And it's not about giving up on that person, it's about walking away for the other person's happiness. It's about breaking your own heart.

The idea of letting someone you love go is simply said to prove that if the love is meant to be, it will come back to you. It’s a way to free yourself from that pull or that hold you have on that person. It’s also a way to show that true love never dies and if that person wants to leave for whatever reason, you should not stand in the way of that desire. When you do that, you are letting go, despite the pain, knowing that the person may not come back to you and that’s the scariest part. However, it’s best to know this early on rather than hanging on year after year and knowing that this person really doesn’t want to be with you. Letting go shows tremendous strength and love, because it takes an unselfish love of that person to truly be willing to lose the person, since you love him or her so much.

So the ‘love' you refer to isn't as strong as you might think. So letting someone go might hurt for a few days, weeks, months or even years, but there is always someone else and they are all replaceable. but in some cases its not some people give their own life to them  without them and they are happy with some other person 

so according to you is it correct to let them go and wait if they returns

Because loving someone unconditional is quite rare if you find a one stay with them no matter and if someone let them free because love is all about flying without limitations. If they returns they are all yours 
if they never returns they were not meant they always had an feeling to let you go and they would be waiting for a single just to get rid of you !!
